2. Required information
Your notice must include, in writing:
- A physical or electronic signature of the owner (or authorised person);
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
- Identification of the infringing material and its exact URL on a Lispsi-hosted site, with enough detail for us to locate it;
- Your contact information (name, address, phone, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the owner, the law, or its agent;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act.
3. What happens next
We review complete notices and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the material and notify the site owner. We may also forward the notice (including your contact details) to the affected owner.
4. Counter-notice
If you are a site owner and believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice including:
- Your signature;
- Identification of the removed material and its location before removal;
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, phone, email, and consent to the jurisdiction of a U.S. federal court (or, if in the U.S., your judicial district);
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the notice.
Unless the original complainant notifies us that they have filed a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the material.
5. Repeat infringers
We maintain a repeat-infringer policy. Accounts whose owners are the subject of multiple valid takedowns may be terminated.
6. Misuse & liability
Submitting a notice or counter-notice knowing the claims are false may create liability for damages (including costs and attorney fees, 17 U.S.C. §512(f)). Make sure your claim is accurate before submitting.
